CORONARY BYPASS

Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (also referred to as CABG) is a treatment option for coronary artery disease. Based on the size, number, and locations of artery blockages, your doctor may decide that bypass surgery, often referred to as open heart surgery, is the best treatment.

We offer the most advanced and modern coronary bypass procedures including minimally invasive approaches. Our staff is experienced with all minimally invasive techniques, including MID-CAB minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass surgery, port-access or "keyhole" surgery, and robotic surgery. We also offer off-pump, or beating-heart, surgery.

Off-pump bypass surgery offers many benefits, including a reduced need for blood transfusions; less risk of bleeding, stroke, and kidney failure, and reduced chance of nerve damage. Hospital stays are shorter, and patients can make a quicker return to day-to-day activities.
